To The Australian Outback in 2019

I’ve decided.

I am going to take 6-7 months to bike the Australian Outback in 2019, crossing the entirety from one end to the other.

The tentative plan is to start at Perth in Western Australia, cut through the middle of Australia (signified by the rock Uluru), and arrive in Sydney on the eastern coast of Australia, from where I would fly home.

Plans may fall apart between now and April 2019 (when I plan to depart), but I decided that if I tell people of my plans, there is a higher chance that I will go through with it.  Besides, I am now letting you in on the planning process, so you can follow me through the entire journey, missed or fulfilled, as I post.

As of right now, I am going solo. But if anyone out there has six months to spend from April through October, or any portion in between, company is always welcome.
