Iterations, Iterations…

Australia Trip Planning #1

To ride the Australian Outback, I have found no predetermined route.  All I could do is review what others have done by bike and where they have gone.   I have read and viewed other bikers’ adventures into the middle of Australia.  But in the end, each mile is being planned by me.

The route as of the date of this posting is Iteration #7.  I have gone through six previous plans, and it is quite likely that the route will change again before departure date.  But the parameters have remained the same: start in Perth, ride through Uluru, end in Sydney. Here is what I have so far. Enjoy.

Great to see it marked out on the map. About 2640 miles, just about the same as Los Angeles to NYC, right? Go for it!

    1. Yes, Australia is approximately the size of the U.S. Zigzagging through Australia will make for a slightly longer ride. But I’m looking forward to it!
